What it lists
The SpamCop Block List (SCBL) reflects spamtrap hits and user-submitted spam reports. Listings expire automatically (usually 24 hours after the last spam event) so reputation can recover quickly once the issue is fixed.
Who gets listed
IPs that have hit SpamCop's spamtrap network or received high volumes of user reports.
Reputation impact
Significant. Many small and mid-size ISPs consult SCBL by default; a listing typically causes deferrals and a small share of outright rejections.
How to delist
There is no expedited removal: stop sending to spamtraps and recipients who report you, then wait for the auto-expiry window to pass.
